Andrew has been involved in the Hospitality industry for over 45 years, of which 30 years has been in spa & wellness.  Based in Thailand, he has been employed in Destination, Cruise ship, Day & Resort Spa sectors of the industry.   With a background as a chef and holder of a certificate in Kitchen Management, from the acclaimed Regency College of Technical and Further Education (South Australia).  He has worked as a Chef in Australia, England, Hong Kong, and Thailand where he was recognised for best spa cuisine in the world 1998-2000. His career subsequently morphed into spa operations and ultimately spa & wellness consulting across Asia and as far afield as Europe and South America with Bangkok based Spa Origins Co.,Ltd.  He is an accomplished author, international speaker, and industry educator who has been employed by or consulted with spa & wellness facilities across multiple industry sectors across the Asia Pacific and as far afield as Europe and South America.

A passionate believer in the sharing of knowledge, and an avid supporter of the Asia Pacific spa and wellness industry.  In 2013 Andrew was inducted into the Thailand Spa & Well-being Awards Hall of Fame, while at the Hall of Wellness Awards 2020 (Dubia) he was recognised as Global Personality / Contributor to the Industry, and he was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the APSWC Awards 2023 (Singapore)   

In addition to his consultancy work, he has been actively involved in many aspects of wellness and its related industries.  Past responsibilities, included President, Thai Spa Association 2007-2013 (Thailand), Chairman, Organizing Committee, World Spa & Well-being Convention 2013 – 2017 (Thailand), Chairman, Asia Pacific Spa & Wellness Coalition 2009 – 2013 (Singapore), Ambassador Thailand Global Wellness Day 2014 – 2020 (Thailand), judge for the AsiaSpa Awards 2013 – 2020 (Hong Kong)

Current responsibilities include Chairman, Asia Pacific Spa & Wellness Coalition 2015 – present (Singapore), Asia Pacific Representative, TERMATALIA (Spain); Organising Committee Member, World Spa & Wellness Asia, (Thailand), Advisor, Asia Pacific Institute of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy Tourism, (China) and Ambassador Emeritus Global Wellness Day (Turkey)
